Animarathon

The Animarathon was much better this year. There were a lot more vendors and artists.

The program is better this year too. My congratulation to the VP Lillie.

I didn't buy anything. Everything I saw there could be cheaper some where else. For non-DVD merchandise, I can by them in Hong Kong for an affordable price.

The arts was also good. I was GLaD to see some Weighted Companion Cube. Becca is a nice artist, working with metal and all.

Cosplay is mediocre. There are a few good ones. There was one cute girl dressed as a character from Soul Caliber. Also one guy was dressed as an BLU engineer from Team Fortress 2, but everyone thought he was Bob The Builder. I was also GLaD to see two to three Haruhi Suzumiya. But there was also the blandness of Naruto. Err~~~ How I dislike Naruto.

I met up with Sandy and Mel, then later Zack, Christoph and their friends. I had fun with them.

The Circle of Life.

I just saw The Lion King, it was great.

The music was wonderful, the acting was great, the special effects were awesome, the props were beautiful.

I went with my sister and one of her friend. We bought our tickets through BGSU so we got foods at a restaurant across the street from Stranahan Theater. There were stuffed mushroom, a cheese and ham plate, grilled food on sticks, and some other good stuff that I don't know what it was.

The show started at 8:00. It is amazing how they did the costume. Human, yet animals. I really want to know how the complex costumes work. After the intermission, my sister's friend got lock out for the first scene.

One disappointing thing is that the merchandise are so freaking expensive.

After the show, we walked out into the lobby to find our self in a snow storm. We got stuck waiting to get out of the parking lot for fifteen minutes. Then we took about another hour plus to get home. We head to stop in the middle of the road half way home to get rid of the snow on the windshield again.

Everything was awesome, beside the weather.

!!nd

We got 2nd place.
Sure, it was a bit disappointing, but still it was fun.

I forgot to set my alarm clock last night. So I woke at 8:30, we were supposed leave at 9:00. I got there at 8:50. I thought I was the last one to arrive. Unfortunately, I was wrong. I was the forth. Meg, Brand, and Andrew came before me. Vincent is next. Then Heather.

Mrs. Laabs drove right up next to the door. When she was about to enter the building, Vincent being nice, he opened the door for her. But he opened the wrong door, he opened the alarmed door, and it went off for a few second, then stop. No one did a thing, so wast is the point of the alarm? No security person came out. Nothing happened.

We were stuck out in the 'air lock' because the maintenance personal was fixing and cleaning stuff. I did get inside and got a drink of water in the cafeteria. I snapped some pictures, and one of the plan for the new Jr. High.

We called Kapil and Ross to wake them up. Kapil forgot about the game, he remembered that it is Wednesday. Ross can't come because of Exam at BGSU. Vincent, Andrew and I also have exams this week. Kapil arrived and we left around 9:15.

We ate brunch at a BoB Even's at Lima. It was quite nice. We had some weird conversations. Meg stole some condiments and napkins with her four-dimensional [censored].

We were the first to arrived at the Write State, Celina Campus. Vincent and Andrew played pool. Vincent kicked Andrew's ass. They played ping pong next, same thing happened. Meg and I played pool next. We both sucked. But I got better as I go along, Meg still sucked. I popped the cue ball out twice. She did the same, but more, in a more fantastic ways. She hit a ball into a corner pocket, but the cue some how popped up at the pocket and rowed along the railing and fell into a center pocket. Ping Pong ball form Vince and Drew's game keep hitting in our direction. Brandon and Heather wanted to play next, but we had a game.

Since we only have seven people, the J.V. team only had three people. Meg, Heath, and I are on the J.V. team. We lost our first game to Bluffton. Then we won all the other games. Kapil helped out in a game when the varsity team had a break. The last team we face is also Bluffton. Kapil also joined, but we still lost.

We ate after that, not much happened. But I did notice how much people were actually at Write State.

On our way back, we played game that name countries. We played it the entire way. Heather and I both ran out of countries along time before Vince and Andrew. But before we played the game, we discussed what state has what significant. We arrived back in BG around 7:35.

It was fun. Can't wait for more road trip with friends. I was a bit disappointed that I didn't reach my picture quota of 150 pictures.

Rampancy

Yesterday, I was on the road. I've never liked the process of traveling.

Why? I may ask.

Because in the car, I am a lone with my mind for a long time. I also don't like to sit in a seat for hours without a TV or computer in front of me.

I think too much about things. I am going rampant. But if I am saying I am going rampant, than doesn't this prove that I am not rampant.

Why the hell am I using rampant to discribe a human? Thinking too much is a sign of rampancy, but rampancy is not real. I am just crazy, not rampant.

Thinking too much makes me sad. Maybe Lisa Simpson is right, the smarter you are the sadder you are. But I am not that smart, but I still over think and thus make me sad.

Maybe I am just over thinking about my over thinking. I should just let it be.

I needed spring break, not a break from spring.

I am in Crystal Lake, IL.

Today begin out quite good. It snowed the night before.

We had lunch at a very good authentic Spanish restaurant. We ordered dishes. Each dish are small and we all shared them. Eating them are with bread are good. The deserts are really good. One is a banana cream pie, the other is chocolate sponge cake. They are heavenly.

But while eating, it snowed even more.
We were going to go to Boarders and Best Buy, but the road just got so terrible.
My aunt said that the city ran out of salt a long time ago.

But tomorrow will be better. Going to Ikea and/or Mistuwa.

And the winner is......

...... me?

I don't know. I won't know till friday when I bring my Wii and Super Smash Brother Brawl to Shane. I hope I can go, I still have to finish my clay project after school.

The new game is good. The game play is good. The graphics are good. But I am still a little slow. I was never good at these kind of fighting games. But I am sure I'll improve. But before then, my ass still get beat.

I haven't tried many feature, beside the Sub Space Emissary and the Map maker. The Sub Space Emissary is the story camping, but since it is a fighting game so the story isn't very good.

I read that the online play is so slow because every one is trying to get on it. So I am not going to try yet.

It is going to troublesome to bring the Wii over and back. But it is going to be fun!

This is a triumph. I'm making a note here: HUGE SUCCESS!

I was and still am happy.
No one knew what was going on when they called us down. Some of us joked about getting into trouble or someting.
I feel a bit sad for those five that didn't get inducted.
But I feel happy for me and my friends who did.

Like a rich fat kid in a candy store.

That was how I felt like monday.

My tea pot project has a cyberpunk design. I needed an old computer for parts to decorate it.
I asked around, and Sandy have some old computer in a barn. She delivered it to the school monday.

She said the old Mac Power computer still works. So I wanted to turn it on to see how the OS work. But there was no power cord. So I started to take it apart. I was so happy to see the inside of an old computer. It used to belong to BGSU around 1994 or later.

But I felt sort of bad. Because I sort of euthanized the computer. I tore it apart piece by piece. I got to the hard drive and I resisted a little, because it is like the soul of the computer. I continued my disassembling of the hard drive, but this was a challenge. The screw on the hard drive was so hard to unscrew. I unscrew three out of six. Leonard help me with the other two. But the last one was stuck.

I took every thing apart. Next I will have to take apart the keyboard and the mouse. Sandy also gave me a monitor, but I doubt I'll have any use of that. How will I dispose of it?

Mobile Suit Gundam 00

I started watching this last week. I got a data DVD from a friend from the BGSU Anime Club.

It is the first Gundam series to be shown on HD. And it looks amazing! It is not out in the state yet. I am watching the fan sub. One thing annoying about it is that the hole entire series, at least on that DVD any way, is that the fan subbing are done by at least three differnt groups. Some translation is a bit differnt.

But the story of the series is great. It is not colonies rebelling against earth. The story is original! The setting is the 24th century AD. It is about how a private military organization is trying to stop all wars on earth with force and high tech weaponry, aka Gundams.

Check it out! It is awesome!
