Yup, last Homecoming for me.
The pep-rally was creepy. They had a drag queen contest featuring the entire football team did an aerobic dance.
The game was great, we won.
The Band was great. I backward marched while video recording their marches. The half-time was not fun because of homecoming. The homecoming court stole the show. The only downside of the game was the weather, it was fucking COLD!!!
Homecoming dance was fun.
Dress shoes are really uncomfortable. But I shouldn't complaint, at least I don't have to wear heels. I finally found a reason to wear my nice analog watch.
I brought a tripod. I took some nice time lapse photos of the dance. You can see people's ghostly shadow movements.
It was fun, I really liked it, but the music sort a sucked. There was only like six songs that isn't hip-hop.
I danced, yes I know, shocking isn't it, I danced.
Everyone was awesome. My friends are the best!

My life bar is approaching zero
I am slowly dying from school work.
I know, I know, you are probably thinking "you are not taking both AP courses, so don't complain." I know I am not one of those duel AP people. So I admit, I am not dying as fast as they are. They deserve much kudos. And I am sure that they will have a much better future than I will.
The workload in AP chem isn't very much, but understanding some of them are somewhat hard. This is my favorite logic base class. I can't complain too much about this.
I love Japanese. I really like that class, but it is really hard. I am behind in the materials, and I keep forgetting things. I found that my background in Cantonese helps a bit. A few of the Japanese words sound a like with their Cantonese counterpart.
Calculus is hell for me. I have no clue what's going on. I understand some of the concepts, but I don't know how to apply them. The worst of all: research paper. Yet, I have to use English to explain math. NOO!!!
I will have to work hard. I need to get at least B's.

!!nd
We got 2nd place.
Sure, it was a bit disappointing, but still it was fun.
I forgot to set my alarm clock last night. So I woke at 8:30, we were supposed leave at 9:00. I got there at 8:50. I thought I was the last one to arrive. Unfortunately, I was wrong. I was the forth. Meg, Brand, and Andrew came before me. Vincent is next. Then Heather.
Mrs. Laabs drove right up next to the door. When she was about to enter the building, Vincent being nice, he opened the door for her. But he opened the wrong door, he opened the alarmed door, and it went off for a few second, then stop. No one did a thing, so wast is the point of the alarm? No security person came out. Nothing happened.
We were stuck out in the 'air lock' because the maintenance personal was fixing and cleaning stuff. I did get inside and got a drink of water in the cafeteria. I snapped some pictures, and one of the plan for the new Jr. High.
We called Kapil and Ross to wake them up. Kapil forgot about the game, he remembered that it is Wednesday. Ross can't come because of Exam at BGSU. Vincent, Andrew and I also have exams this week. Kapil arrived and we left around 9:15.
We ate brunch at a BoB Even's at Lima. It was quite nice. We had some weird conversations. Meg stole some condiments and napkins with her four-dimensional [censored].
We were the first to arrived at the Write State, Celina Campus. Vincent and Andrew played pool. Vincent kicked Andrew's ass. They played ping pong next, same thing happened. Meg and I played pool next. We both sucked. But I got better as I go along, Meg still sucked. I popped the cue ball out twice. She did the same, but more, in a more fantastic ways. She hit a ball into a corner pocket, but the cue some how popped up at the pocket and rowed along the railing and fell into a center pocket. Ping Pong ball form Vince and Drew's game keep hitting in our direction. Brandon and Heather wanted to play next, but we had a game.
Since we only have seven people, the J.V. team only had three people. Meg, Heath, and I are on the J.V. team. We lost our first game to Bluffton. Then we won all the other games. Kapil helped out in a game when the varsity team had a break. The last team we face is also Bluffton. Kapil also joined, but we still lost.
We ate after that, not much happened. But I did notice how much people were actually at Write State.
On our way back, we played game that name countries. We played it the entire way. Heather and I both ran out of countries along time before Vince and Andrew. But before we played the game, we discussed what state has what significant. We arrived back in BG around 7:35.
It was fun. Can't wait for more road trip with friends. I was a bit disappointed that I didn't reach my picture quota of 150 pictures.

Rampancy
Yesterday, I was on the road. I've never liked the process of traveling.
Why? I may ask.
Because in the car, I am a lone with my mind for a long time. I also don't like to sit in a seat for hours without a TV or computer in front of me.
I think too much about things. I am going rampant. But if I am saying I am going rampant, than doesn't this prove that I am not rampant.
Why the hell am I using rampant to discribe a human? Thinking too much is a sign of rampancy, but rampancy is not real. I am just crazy, not rampant.
Thinking too much makes me sad. Maybe Lisa Simpson is right, the smarter you are the sadder you are. But I am not that smart, but I still over think and thus make me sad.
Maybe I am just over thinking about my over thinking. I should just let it be.

I needed spring break, not a break from spring.
I am in Crystal Lake, IL.
Today begin out quite good. It snowed the night before.
We had lunch at a very good authentic Spanish restaurant. We ordered dishes. Each dish are small and we all shared them. Eating them are with bread are good. The deserts are really good. One is a banana cream pie, the other is chocolate sponge cake. They are heavenly.
But while eating, it snowed even more.
We were going to go to Boarders and Best Buy, but the road just got so terrible.
My aunt said that the city ran out of salt a long time ago.
But tomorrow will be better. Going to Ikea and/or Mistuwa.

This is a triumph. I'm making a note here: HUGE SUCCESS!

I was and still am happy.
No one knew what was going on when they called us down. Some of us joked about getting into trouble or someting.
I feel a bit sad for those five that didn't get inducted.
But I feel happy for me and my friends who did.

My birthday
It was pleasant.
The two hours delay was ok, I got two more hours of sleep. That was a nice present.
I am happy that people wished me a happy birthday. Thanks to the internet, people know. I am GLaD, it made my day. Oh, I just remember, because of the delay, I missed Mrs. Laabs' birthday song. But I still got a birthday song, and an attempt to sing Chinese happy birthday song.
I got some red pocket from families. A cake was baked for me from my sister. The inside tasted good, the outside was meh.
I don't know how I am feeling. I feel happy and GLad, but at the same time I feel melancholy and depressed. Wait does melancholy and depressed mean the same thing?
Anyway, I am happy that I'll be an adult soon. I'll be free, going to college, no more oppression of the education system.
But I am having some sort of 17/100 life crisis, or a 17% life crisis. My childhood is coming to a close. My careless days will soon be over. I would have to take care of my self. When I go to college, my friends will be leaving. I have so much to do, with so little time.
Am I just afraid of being an adult, or just don't want to give up my childhood?
Am I afraid of my indecisiveness of the future?
But no mater how I feel, I should look forward for the future. I am over thinking about this.
Hey! Super Smash Brother comes out next week! My birthday present will be so much fun!
Why the hell am I spelling GLaD like this? Why am I asking this on my blog? It like I am talking to my self, but only spelling it out. Woh... What the hell is wrong with me? I should shut up.

Dream Dream Dream!
I've been having weird dream lately.
Saturday night, I had a dream about this girl from my American Government class last semester that I barely know. It is about how she is an illegal French immigrant.
Last night, I had two dreams.
The first one is about how the US army/air force is having soldiers is having a high orbital insertion into Australia.
The last one is about how a Star Fleet ship is entering the Andromeda Galaxy and was being attacked by an unknown allien space ship. Then the captain call for preparation to abandon ship.
My mind is so weird.

The future?
We will have to turn in our registration from tomorrow.
Damn. Time past by so fucking fast.
Next year, I'll be taking:
Calculus
AP Chemistry (might change)
Physic
Creative Writing
Sr Seminar: Sci-Fi & Fantasy
Pop Culture
I am still deciding what to take for PSEOP
My birthday is also tomorrow. I feel weird about my birthday. It is the last birthday of my childhood. I have one more year to enjoy the carelessness of being a kid. But I have one more year left untill I gain freedom of adulthood.
Oh well. "The more birthday you have, the longer you'll live."

Coming Home...
...Was great!
Most of it was great. Megan and friends is disturbing.. (>.<) I need a shrink because of them...
Music was alright, but there were a few unexpected ones. Like 'one more time', 'barbie girl', and some NSYNC song.
Sandy and Melanie, maybe me too, did pull a prank on Megan. Meg forgot her wallet on a table, they took every thing out of it. I return the wallet to Meg. Meg yelled out "SOME ONE CLEANED ME OUT!!!" It was very funny. Then Mel suggested to Meg to report it. We ran after her to stop, because we pulled the prank.

Home Sick Syndrome
The new year reminds me of how much I miss Hong Kong.
I haven't experienced real new year festivity for, I think, eight years.
I have a dream a few days back. It was about Hong Kong.
I miss that place...

New Year Blues
Ok, it isn't exactly the new year. But a few days after it.
New Year was actually great. Well not really great, I'll talk about why on my next post.
The New Year celebration at BGSU hosted by the CSSA gets worst by the year.
There used to be crappy Chinese-ish food cooked by the BGSU food services. Now they just have crappy sorry excuse for pizza. What the hell is that!! It is a Chinese celebration and all they are giving us are shitty pizza?!
The performance is also a bit disappointing. They are all good, but only a few are actually related to the new year. Other are just Chinese pop song, and western classical music. I want to listen to some old fashion Erhu or Liuqin. I can listen to violin and piano any time I want.
I want the good old fashion celebration that I grew up with. Candies, Red Pocket, the new year markets, the decorations.

The GodDamn cold
The weather is so goddamn cold.
My house is so goddamn cold.
What the hell is wrong with the weather?
Climate change, that's why.
I can't wait till summer...
But then, I'll be complaining about the heat.
Circle of seasons, no weather is actually good for anyone, especially here in BG....
At least we are not flooding..

"Even though you broke my heart.....
.....And killed me. And tore me to pieces. And threw every piece into a fire."
A broken heart could feel like that I guess. I wouldn't know. I don't want to know, but it is an unavoidable part of life. I will know, unfortunately.
We human are weird. We are one of a few animals on earth that have emotional attachment with our mate. It is good a guess. We are advance enough to some what disregard physical attraction or lust. This make us superior to other animals, even those of our closest relatives don't have these logical feature.
We youngsters are naive and inexperience. Are we, only had live less than two decade, ready for relationship and love? The youngsters of the past got married and started family at our age. But then again people don't live that long back then.
Time didn't just changed how long we live, but how we live as well. Our culture changed. Society changed.
We, youngsters are emotionally unstable. Hormone bouncing everywhere, causing unstable emotion and thinking. We are too impulsive and jumps into a relationship with someone. That person might or might not be the best for them. When/if it end, the heart is broken. And throw into a depression.
Personally, I wouldn't call it 'heart broken.' Heart broken is heart disease. I would call it emotionally broken. It happens in the brain, not heart. It effect everything that the brain control. It is a broken brain.
Is high school relationship worth it? The couple is most likely going to break up. From what I learn in biology last year, a high school relationship could last at the shortest average at two weeks, from getting attracted to a heartbroken breakup. But high school could also be the place to find the love of one's life.
For some, the risks outweigh the benefits. For other, the benefits outweigh the risks.
I am still deciding what outweigh what for me... I also have to consider what outweigh what for the person... High school is so short, once it end, our life have to part and move on the colleges and jobs. The separation might also hurt like a 'broken heart'.
A friend of mine said that "There are only two kinds of relationships in high school. One is friends with benefits, the other are force into a relationship."
I don't believe that. There could be something meaningful. The couple just have to work hard on the relationship.
Love, like the human brain and our emotion, is a mysterious thing. Scientist only found out a very little part about how love works. I doubt they'll figure it out entirely.
The quote form atop is from the ending song of the game Portal. The song name is "Still Alive", sang by Ellen McLain, and written by Jonathan Coulton.

The tale of a protractor
There is this on going feud between two people.
One of the person is a loser person, the other is a bitchy person.
The bitch had this broken protractor and didn't want it, but didn't want to throw it away. So she gave the protractor to the loser.
The loser didn't want to throw it away for her, so he gave it back to the bitchy person. The bitchy person then stealthily put the protractor into the loser's backpack.
On next day, the bitch threw the protractor at the loser. The loser then stealthily put the protractor into the bitchy person's hoodie.
A few days later, the loser found the protractor in his backpack again. He went to the bitchy person's locker and tape the protractor on it and making it look like a smile face. Later that day, the bitchy person, once again, sneak the protractor into the loser's backpack. The loser found it very soon. He chase after the bitchy person and threw it at her and dash off.
A few weeks later, a friend of the loser gave him the protractor. She was ordered by the bitchy person two weeks ago, but she had forgotten. Later that day, he tape the protractor onto the bitch's locker. Once again, he made a face, but this time the face he put onto the locker is an angry face.

The feud had not ended yet. No one knows when will it end.

I can't find the art in me.
Lately I can't feel the art in me. I don't know why, but I don't feel creative. I sort of lost my mojo. I feel like I am lazier than usual. I don't know why. Maybe I don't have much inspiration or just got bored, but I hope it is not bored.
I just can't get myself working. I have to finished this drawing for the quizbowl team, but I don't have the will power to do so. I haven't draw anything for a week. What the hell is wrong with me? I can't open my book draft and continue writing it. I have idea for the story but I just can't some how.
I don't know why, but I don't really feel like myself.

I don't know why, but I don't really feel like myself.

My week
My first week back was great...... well.
School: Classes are good.
My Chinese class has a new teacher. She is ok, I guess. I am not used to her teaching style, but I am sure I'll get used to it. The classroom is much bigger, but we only have about 20 students. Bad: our classroom smell like paint. Good: the area outside of the classroom where we wait for the previous class to end is big and have chairs and sofa. The building don't have air condition, so spring won't be pleasant.
Econ class is ok. The class time is late and long, but I get friday off, so that's good. The class is huge, I mean every seat is fill. The instructor is good, she is funny and cute. But she don't give out bonus points and we will have homework.
At the high school, it pretty much the same. I officially don't have first period, but I still have to come in to work on my metals project which was dude a few month ago.
Lunch is quiet. Half of the people I sit with are gone in C lunch. I miss every one.
Now I have all the lunches are on thursday instead of friday. I sit with differnt people...
non-school:
My mom complained to me that my texting from last month cost $5. I don't usually text, but our plan suck. T-mobile sucks ass.
The city put a no parking sign in front of our house, now we have to park across the street...
I guess this week is one of my best that wasn't durning break.

Happy New Year!
It have been a long time. I almost for got I have this blog thingy.
Christmas is wonderful. The best one in my life so far.
I've been writing my book, slowly but surely. I should also be working on a picture for the quiz bowl team. But I spent too much time playing Half Life 2 and Splinter Cell Double Agent.
Next semester will be much better. I don't have a first period. My afternoon college class is only on monday and wednesday. But my metal project is still not finished.
I don't want the break to end!

These few days sucks. I got sick in the week start and now I am feeling dizzy a lot.
Any way. I joined the Anime Club today. Well I haven't decided if I'll stay. This is the second club I joined. The first is the Chinese club.

I want some alone time.
They really should lower the adult age. I mean one can be a legal adult at age of 16 or at lest file for emancipation.
I can't stand them. Sure parent are loving and stuff, but they won't leave me alone. (>.<) Not having a room is really not helping. I can't even enjoy TV or any thing. They won't shut up. All day do is judge, not just me but any thing, but I have to listen. The generation gap is also very big, the era of the last generation and this one is very different in Hong Kong.
What annoys me is that they always talk during a TV show, and ask question right when something happens. They almost always miss the answer to their question while asking the question. Another thing is that they are really skeptical of anything. Judge every thing, very stereotypical. I hate to say it but my parent are primitive. Some time they treat me like a very little kid. One time my mom want to rearrange my wallet because my bills are not stack nicely. They always want to do stuff for me, let me try stuff on my own, for the love of buddha.
Some time I am afraid that I am the smartest person with in the family right now.
I just want to be alone for a while, independence. When I want to be with some one, I'll find my self a future wife to be with.
