Achievement Unlocked!

I've been playing Team Fortress a lot lately. Because I won't be playing as much after school gets serious.

The new achievements for the classes really motivate you to play more.
I've unlocked all three new weapons for the Pyro. I need one more for the Medic, and just starting on the Heavy's.

I hope that they might even add new classes, but I highly doubt that they would.
But what happen when the release all the achievement packs? Will they make more and newer unlockable weapons?

Legality

Went to a computer mall in Sham Shui Po yesterday.

I like that place. There are lot more variety of products here. There are digital drawing tablets there. I saw one that the tablet is a monitor. I want to buy a Wacom Intuos3, but I am going to price check on other places and online.

I bought a DVI to HDMI cable. A few CD pens.

I saw some computer games for less than HKD$ 100. They are obviously illegal copy, but I was tempted. But I thought, it might not be good for my computer. But I did saw some photoshop programs.

I really want that tablet, but I am going to look for the best price.

THE UBER BOX!!

Yesturday I went to The MEGA BOX.
It is the largest mall in Hong Kong. It is about 16 stories high, not including the 2 basement levels.

That place only have a few stores that I am interested in. But I love the interior architecture and design of the building.

I did went to a book store. I love that place, they sell books, of course, but also, DVDs VCDs CDs BRs, and stationary, and USB powered goodies.

I bought a four games bundle for the price of one game!!!! Company of Heroes, Supreme Commander, War Hammer and an expansion pack.

I also saw some Haruhi Suzumiya novels and manga. I would by the manga, but they were missing volume 2. For the novels, I wanted to buy some too, but I don't know how to read. (>.<)

Alternative

For this trip to Hong Kong, I purposely didn't bring any games with me.
My goal was, and still is, to finished the first volume to my novel and to experience some nice free flash based/ independent games.

Those flash games are really creative. They are really fun and interesting. Some don't have any good graphics but they play well and some of them look cute.

I really like these independent game makers. They work on these title to have fun and to let other people to have fun. They don't mind doing these game for free, because they are having fun and they want other people to enjoy their creation.

I suck at rhythm games

I found out that there would be a high possibility that both AP Chemistry and Senior Studio would be on 6th period. >.<

My mom also broke my Prom glass. >.<

But my weekend is going just fine. I had a nice time at Emily's late birthday party. I suck at rhythm games. I can't play Guitar Hero, I can't play DDR, I can't play FFR, I can't play Elite Beat Agent. (-_-)

I got my new portable external hard drive.

I downloaded a new Portal map pack that was created by the same people that made Portal: The Flash Version.

Now, I just have too read for school...

I don't know. I won't know till friday when I bring my Wii and Super Smash Brother Brawl to Shane. I hope I can go, I still have to finish my clay project after school.

The new game is good. The game play is good. The graphics are good. But I am still a little slow. I was never good at these kind of fighting games. But I am sure I'll improve. But before then, my ass still get beat.

I haven't tried many feature, beside the Sub Space Emissary and the Map maker. The Sub Space Emissary is the story camping, but since it is a fighting game so the story isn't very good.

I read that the online play is so slow because every one is trying to get on it. So I am not going to try yet.

It is going to troublesome to bring the Wii over and back. But it is going to be fun!

GOD DAMN CRASH!!!!!!

Sim City 4 is great, but for some reason it keep crashing!!!! I used to be not this bad, but it keeps getting worst. I cried three drops of tears as my works get deleted.

Sim City 4

I now have an addiction of Sim City 4. There is some sort of satisfaction when creating something, even if it is not real.

I downloaded mods and new building off the internet. Each download making my cities more and more magnificent.

I admit I have to cheat some time, but the city looks great. On those that I didn't cheat on, it is that much more satisfying. The hardest part of all cities are balancing the budget. Making sure that the city makes more money then it spending.

Sims game, although sometime could be a bit frustrating, but it is much more fun and satisfying than other type of games.

Splinter Cell trouble

I love Splinter Cell. I love how you can sneak up behind enemy and stab their back. I love the story of government bureaucracy and military intelligence.

I recently got Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double Agent. I first got some problem. It was easily resolved. Two patches fixed everything. The single player is good. There are some minor graphical glitches, like pixelated shadow, or the safe that can't be cracked unless you increase your walking speed. I still haven't finish the single player yet. I am looking forward to the cliffhanger ending.

One day I try playing Multiplayer. It crash. Right after I click on multiplayer and crash. The unreal logo load up, then crash. A window popup and it say there is a problem and program the to be shutdown.

I look on the forum and many people have this problem. More people have single player problem. I guess I am a lucky one to play single player without much trouble. I do have crash in single player once in a while, but that really not a issue.

I am mildly pissed and disappointed. I expected more from Ubisoft.

Spoiler-ish! The first four minutes of HALO 3!! The graphic is freaking awesome!!
DAMNIT I want to know how the story goes, but I ain't got a 360. (>.<)

Addicting flash game

They got this game call "grow island" where the player must develop an island to certain level. There is a panel to chose what field to develop. Each turn can only develop one field and each field effect leveling up of another field. There are so much possibilities. I keep wanting to get the UFO to land.

Police training on Counter Strike

This was surprising to me. I thought the Chinese government hate foreign video games.

The police department of one city in China is encouraging their officer to play Counter Strike. They say it for training. Sure it might help, but real training would work better.

What they need is a Wii version of Counter Strike. That will help them!

Free!!!

Ok, I don't know who really read this. If you don't know me, I don't like to pay monthly fees for games. I am EXTREMELY happy when Granado Espada, or Sword of the New World in the US, stop the level and trade restriction for non-subscribers.

Now I can play again, I gave up this game when I figure out that it won't be fun if I can't level up to more than level 20.

For who haven't heard of Granado Espada, or Sword of the New World, Google search Sword of the New World to see what it all about! It a great RPG game. You can control up to 3 characters at a time. You can move them around or use different tactic with 3 people. Classes are also good, I like the Musketeers.

The enviroment and graphical detail are wounder full. The requrement for this good playing/looking game isn't much. Most normal computer can handle it so it nice and I don't have to upgrade any thing.

I am so fucking tire of the stupid ESRB rating system

The current rating system is too out of date. We really need to have a new rating system. The one we have now was made long time ago where there people think every minor are the same. We are growing so fast these day.

Here what I think the new one should be:

EA: Early Childhood (but who is going to use it) [ex: Elmo games]

E: Every one [ex: Pac-man, MySims, sim city]

LC: Late Childhood (8+) [ex: Zelda, Spiderman movie games]

PT: Pre-Teen (10+) [ex: StarCraft, Time splitter, Sims, Gundams, soul caliber, metriod prime, final fantasy]

T: Teen (12+) [ex: Medal of Honor, Dead or Alive]

YA: Young Adult (15+) [ex: Halo, Splinter cell, Doki Doki Majo Shinpan!, counter strike, half life, GTA, resident evil, Dead or Alive: Extream]

A: Adult (18+) [ex: mortal combat, Doom]

X: Explicit content (18+(only with really heavy sexual content)) [ex: Eroge games]

CG: Casual Gamer (any one) [ex: wario ware, nintendog, brain age]

S: Senior (50+) [ex: square dancing revolution]

And they should also consider the factor of the story, or the intensity of certain things to rate the games:

Like if Medal of Honor show blood, the rating shouldn't go up, because the blood are reasonable in a war, espically WWII, it base on actual event. Historic game should have a lower rating. But for Mortal Combat, their blood showing it not realistic, people can't kill that easily or that bloody.

If there are nudity and it not sexual nudity, just normal nudity, the rating shouldn't go up just of two innocent nipples. If the game have a fuck fest, even without nudity, then yes, the rating should go up.

Also, rating should be depending on 2D or 3D. If it bloody in 2D, the rating shouldn't go up.
